Get ready for an exciting opportunity with Athletes for a Better Community, Inc. (ABCKidz)! Our 2026 Basketball Academy will kick off on Saturday, April 25, 2026, and run through Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the beautifully renovated Pavonia Marion Basketball Courts on West Side Avenue and Pavonia Avenue. We're thrilled to offer co-ed basketball for youth ages 7 to 13 in Jersey City! Participants can look forward to learning fundamental skills such as dribbling, shooting, running, passing, and teamwork. Join us for a fun-filled season of growth and camaraderie on the court!  Use the QR code to pre-register for your child's session. 
 

• Ages 7-8 - 10:00AM - 10:45AM

• Ages 9-10 - 11:00AM - 11:45PM

• Ages 11-13 - 12:00PM - 1:00PM

 

Our Basketball Academy athletes will learn the values of sportsmanship, self-discipline, agility, confidence building, and the importance of playing by the rules, all while having fun! Participants are required to wear sneakers and shorts. Regular water breaks will be provided, and athletes will have the opportunity to learn from experienced coaches and volunteers. We encourage parents to attend. Locations will be determined at the time of registration. This program is free and open to the first 100 participants.
